When I applied at the University of Santo Tomas, I picked my course by just simply reading the "career options" area at the description. Creative director, art director, photographer, graphic designer, painter, and fashion designer to name a few were some of the career options listed at the Advertising Arts department. I was very ecstatic to see 'fashion designer' in the list of opportunities because ever since I was 10, I really dreamt of becoming one. When I got accepted and experienced the life of a freshman CFAD student, I wanted to experience taking electives already. I was really impressed with the higher batches especially when they exhibit their works at the Beato Gallery.
I attended the second day of Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2012 :) Years ago, I usually shop for clothes just for these kinds of events. But for practicality, I just mixed and matched some of my clothes and just added some accessories! I painted my nails with my sister's Model's Own nail polish in Bubblegum! Such a cute vibrant neon pink color.
The dress code for the night was "luxe grunge". Honestly, I had no idea what luxe grunge meant. After doing a lot of research (thank you, Google!) I loved this blog entry about the luxe grunge trend the most: The Sche Report :) Check it out! ;)
I decided to revamp this blog. The previous layout was wrong + the photos in the blog entries were too big... so I decided to revamp it and also, delete all 83 boring blog entries.
Anyway, I'm Luiza (you can call me Iza) and I'm 18 years old. I love everything about fashion. I love to mix and match different pieces of clothing ☺ I want to be a fashion designer in the future and have my own clothing line in New York, Paris and here in Manila. I would love to learn how to sew! I love to sketch (planning to post some sketches here) ☺
