BEST DRESSED: THE OSCARS
Monday, February 25, 2013
Browsing red carpet photos of celebrities is definitely one of the reasons why I am dreaming of becoming a successful fashion designer in the near future. I love seeing the Hollywood celebrities and guests wearing creations of talented designers. I know it's a bit risky to dress up a celebrity at red carpet events like the Oscars, since the bottom line of every red carpet event is whether the celebrity is a part of the best dressed list or worst dressed list.
It's the Academy Awards season again-- the event that many of the fashion and style enthusiasts always looks forward to. This blog entry is filled with my favorite dressed for this year's Oscars.
I really loved Amanda Seyfried's Alexander McQueen dress, minimal accessories plus her hair and make-up. She's definitely my top choice. Amanda looked really classy and elegant. You can't go wrong with Alexander McQueen!
The gorgeous gowns of Kristin Chenoweth (Tony Ward) and Louise Roe (Monique Lhuillier) also caught my attention. I really love tulle ball gowns. I think it's perfect for these kinds of events. Monique Lhuiller is one of my inspirations in life. She's one of the best designers in my opinion!
Jennifer Lawrence (Christian Dior Couture) and Amy Adams (Oscar de la Renta) looked stunning also. I can picture these gowns as inspirations of high school juniors and seniors for their prom or even their debut in the future.
For color, I will go with Alicia Vikander (Elie Saab Couture) and Maria Menounos (Romona Keveza) Kudos to their stylists. I love the way their accessories and hair styles match with their gorgeous gowns.
I love black and silver and gold. These stunning celebrities are definitely a part of my best dressed list. Sandra Bullock (Elie Saab), Stacy Keibler (Naeem Khan), Adele (Jenny Packman), Salma Hayek (Alexander McQueen). They all look sleek and fabulous. Elie Saab, Naeem Khan, Jenny Packman and Alexander McQueen should be on every celebrities' mind whenever they will choose their red carpet dresses and they will surely land on the best dressed list no doubt.
